On Friday 8th February, children from Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 gathered to celebrate the hard work of pupils during the third and fourth week of the Accelerated Reading scheme.
Firstly a number of pupils were awarded "Star Reader" awards having made a particular effort with their reading. This week's winners were:

- Christopher Corr
- Aoibhrona Grimley
- Eimear Cox
- Sean Greene
Awards were given to pupils from each class who have reached particularly high word counts:
- P3 Claire McElvanna 28,000words
- P4 Eabhi Woods 68,000 words
- P5 Megan O'Reilly 79,000 words
- P6 Ben Smith 34,000 words
- P7 Ciaran Molloy 98,000 words
Many more pupils have now reached their personal reading target securing the second part of their pass to Funtasia water park. Keep up the good work boys and girls!
