Thursday 24th September was a special day for all at St. Joseph's, as pupils and the wider community came together to celebrate beginning of year mass. Celebrated by Fr. McCamley the mass was beautiful with pupils from all classes contributing with music, readings and traditional music.
Also in attendance was Mrs. Burke who after a 35year teaching carreer in St. Joseph's was invited to celebrate her retirement. This was a particularly poignant moment for all staff and pupils given the incredible service of Mrs. Burke over these years. We hope that Mrs. Burke will continue to be in close contact with all at St. Joseph's and remain involved in many aspects of our school life. The staff and pupils would like to wish her every happiness in her retirement.
Best wishes for the future. We will all miss you Mrs Burke!
