As we begin our final term, we have once again commenced our Accelerated reading scheme. This term, the scheme will run for a shorter period of four weeks.The response has been brilliant and pupils have started extremely enthusiastically. Many are already working towards their personal targets.
On Thursday 11th April children from KS1 and KS2 gathered to celebrate the hard work of pupils during the first week of the programme. Class awards were presented to children who had made special efforts. P6 pupil Sadie McCusker also received a special award from Mr Loughran as she has already achieved 70% of her target.
Also pictured are pupils who have been making excellent progress with the LEXIA programme as well as P1 pupil Aoife O'Hara who managed to count to 100.
