On Friday 8th October, pupils from Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 celebrated the super effort made during the third full week of our Accelerated Reading programme.
Firstly, one pupil from each class received the “Star Reader” award for making a special effort with their reading. This week, the winners were:

After only three weeks, a number of pupils have already met their personal target for this term. A remarkable achievement in the third week of Accelerated Reading! Incredibly, P7 pupil Ellen McKenna has now reached the milestone of becoming a word millionaire. Ellen has read over 1 million words since the beginning of the term. Enjoy spending your well earned prize Ellen!!
