On Friday 7th October, children from Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 gathered to celebrate the hard work of pupils during the fourth week of the Accelerated Reading scheme. Firstly, pupils who have been making a special effort were awarded with with a Star reader prize. This week's star readers are:

- Niall Stevenson
This week, many more children have reached their personal targets receiving the first part of their golden ticket to Funtasia waterpark. Awards were also given to pupils from each class who have reached particularly high word counts:
- P3 Sean Woods 12,538 words
- P4 Eoghan O'Hara 14,081 words
- P5 Amy Toner 48,377 words
- P6 Roisaorlaith Grimley 68,155 words
- P7 Ella Toner 114,492 words
Thus far, the effort made by pupils in the accelerated reading scheme has been brilliant. Well done boys and girls! Keep up the hard work!
