On Friday 12th February, children from Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 gathered to celebrate the hard work of pupils during the third week of week of the Accelerated Reading scheme. Firstly, pupils who have been making a special effort were awarded with with a Star reader prize. This week's star readers are:

- Saerlaith McGleenan
- Dawn Smith
- Jude Smith
Incredibly after only three weeks Ciaran Molloy, Aoife O'Hara, Cadhla Tohill, and Niall Stevenson have now reached their personal targets and received the second part of their golden ticket to Lisburn swimming pool and cinema. Awards were also given to pupils from each class who have reached particularly high word counts:
- P3 Ella Toal 19,444 words
- P4 Cadhla Tohill 77,240 words
- P5 Annie Fitzpatrick 44,707 words
- P6 Danu McKinney 115,888 words
- P7 Niamh Maginess 92,439 words
Thus far, the effort made by pupils in the accelerated reading scheme has been brilliant. Well done boys and girls! Keep up the hard work!
