“Are you a smartie?” Investigation in Primary 2

As this is maths week, Primary 2 pupils participated in an investigation today! The investigation was called ‘Are you a smartie?’ Firstly, the pupils estimated how many red, green, blue, purple, brown, yellow, orange and pink smarties there were in each packet! Then the boys and girls worked with a partner to count how many there actually were of each colour! Finally, they represented the information that they collected using a block graph! Most importantly, the boys and girls were allowed to eat the smarties afterwards!! 🍬🍬Well done boys and girls and we hope you enjoyed using your maths eyes today!
