On Tuesday 20th November, P6 and p7 pupils Ben, Ciara and Manus received special prizes for poems they had entered in the Navan Fort Poetry Competition. Following a poetry workshop at the Navan centre, the pupils had written poems based on the theme of change.
In total 550 poems were entered from schools around Armagh with Ciara and Manus winning school awards and Ben successfully winning the overall Key Stage 2 award. The pupils had the chance to recite their poems infront of a large audience before picking up their prizes. Well done boys and girls!
