On Friday 23rd February, we held our final Accelerated Reading awards presentation for term two. This was to celebrate the fantastic effort made during the fifth week of our Accelerated Reading programme.
Two pupils from each class received the “Star Reader” award for making an excellent effort with their reading. This week, the winners were: Eimear Smith & Finian Smyth (P3) Aaron Smith & Maddie Fegan (P4) Naoise McArdle & Ethan Corr (P5) Ryan Cox & Victoria Squires (P6) Conall Carr & Caisi Mackle (P7)
This week, a large number of pupils met their personal targets and received a gift as well as a token award to the 'GAA coaching Day' for completing the programme this term. ????
Also, what an amazing achievement for a number of pupils who have doubled, trebled and quadrupled their targets. Well done boys and girls??????

A very special award was presented to Leo McKenna by Mr Hart for becoming a 'WORD MILLIONAIRE'. What a fantastic achievement in term two. Keep up the fantastic reading Leo :)
