Final Accelerated Reading Awards

On Monday 19th October, children from Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 gathered to celebrate the hard work of pupils during the final week of the Accelerated Reading scheme.

Firstly prizes were offered to pupils who reached their personal targets. These pupils have secured the first part of their pass to our end of year trip. Prizes were also given to pupils who have managed to double, or treble their targets during the scheme. 

Also pupils who have managed to reach particularly high word counts over the final week received an award:

• Liam McGarvey - 5,227 words
• Riognach McKinney - 24,300
• Annie Fitzpatrick - 84,500
• Dawn Smith - 62,432
• Cianan Grimley: 32,540 

The effort made by pupils this term has been fantastic. Well done boys and girls!
