Well done to all our primary seven pupils who have made a brilliant start to the Accelerated Reading Programme. Over the past fortnight, a total of 154 books and 1,070,647 words have been read.

Firstly to Oisin Coyle who secured the STAR Reader award for his brilliant effort thus far.
In addition, well done to those pupils who secured prizes for the most words read:
Ellen: 559,427 words
Odhran: 117,609
Eabhi: 73,980 words
Finally to Christopher, Anthony and Jack who secured a prize having been drawn from the class lotto for achieving 100% correct in individual book tests.
At this stage pupils should have reached approximately 20% of their personal targets.
