Mr Hart's class complete Minecraft Project

Throughout the year pupils in Mr Hart's class have been working on a special World Around Us project centred on the Armagh railway disaster. As part of the project the pupils have been using  the popular game "Minecraft." The pupils who were supported by representatives of the AMMA Centre (digital media centre), were tasked with designing a new train station for Armagh. Pupils used Mathematcal concepts to design and construct a virtual train station. 

On Wednesday 18th April pupils had the unique opportunity to explore their virtual stations using a special virtual reality headset known as Oculus Rift. This enabled the children to walk through and explore the world they created. The day was greatly enjoyed by all and the project has proven to be a great success.
