On Monday 25th January, pupils in Mr. Hart's class continued their five week science workshop at St. Patrick's High School Keady.
This week the pupils were investigating how to seperate pure salt from rock salt. The pupils first mixed ground rock salt with water. They then filtered the mixture with filter-paper in the shape of a funnel. Finally they used a Bunsen burner to evaporate the excess water. Pictured are some of the pupils hard at work:
