As part of their World Around Us topic on the Armagh Railway Disaster, pupils in Mr. Hart's class visited the AMMA digital media centre in Armagh. Armed with iPads the pupils visited Armagh county museum where they were given access to a range of historical items from the time of the disaster including actual parts from the train.
The pupils then visited the graveyard in St. Mark's church where they viewed the headstones of some of the children who died in the disaster. On return to the Amma centre the pupils stopped to study the 125th anniversary memorial statue situated on the Mall.
