AT LAST, after a long and protracted delay our New school Building Programme will commence Monday 17th January 2011. The programme will last until approximately November 2011 when we will take possession for the new build. The demolition of the old school and remaining site works will be completed in Spring 2012.
There will be major implications for both parents and children travelling to and from school during the period with an increased traffic flow on the Fernaloy Rd. We have arranged with the contractors to keep their construction traffic to a minimum during peak times in the morning and afternoon, however great caution should be exercised during the construction time frame.
We will keep you up to date with news and developments of the build during this exciting time for St. Joseph's PS.
