Earlier this year our P3 and P4 pupils worked with local author Declan Carville during a number of literacy workshops. At the time, Declan talked about his writing and read one of his books entitled “The Fairy Glen”.
Yesterday our children met up with Declan, this time at the setting of his book. They travelled to Kilbroney Forest Park where they were able to walk through the Fairy Glen keeping a watchful eye for fairies.
As can be seen from the video, the wet weather didn’t dampen spirits and a great day was had by all!
