P7 pupils receive a visit from their Penpals

As many will know, primary seven pupils from St. Joseph's PS visit Lisdoonvarna in County Clare each year. The trip has become a highlight of the school year and allows children to form friendships with pupils from a number of other schools. One school which we have established positive links with over the years is Sacred Heart PS Rock.

In preparation for the trip pupils from St. Joseph's have established links with their peers in the Rock using a WIKI page. This is a webpage which allows for communication in a safe online environment.

On Friday 20^th January P7 pupils from Sacred Heart PS Rock visited St. Joseph’s to meet their pen pals face to face. It was a very exciting day in which children worked together and got to know one and other. Children viewed their WIKI’s and took part in a quiz. It was a very enjoyable day and P7 pupils are eagerly awaiting the return visit to Sacred Heart Heart PS Rock.
