Problem Solving in Primary 3
20th Oct 2021
This is “Maths week” in Ireland and children are encouraged to focus on finding “maths everywhere”and use their knowledge and maths skills in a variety of ways. In Primary 3, the boys and girls completed lots of fun challenges working out Halloween maths problems. The children had to solve addition and subtraction sums to work out the place value of different mystery clues. As part of their learning, the children used coloured cubes to find different patterns and groups within numbers. Well done boys and girls!
