Reopening Update
Dear Parents,
Over the course of the next few days and weeks we will be sending out communications in relation to our return to school. It is extremely important that you read carefully through these documents to familiarise and prepare both yourself and your child for what the new arrangements in our school will look like.
Undoubtedly there will be many challenges facing us In the months ahead but hopefully with patience and understanding we can, together, mitigate any potential for outbreaks in our locality.
I am mindful that our number one priority is to protect our children in the face of this virus; it is also to protect the staff working in our school and indeed the extended school community of family members including grandparents who may be vulnerable.
Our school will be temporarily changed from the ‘open door’ and easily accessible environment that you have been used to for so long and unfortunately some of the facilities we have previously offered may be affected. However as of other changes in society this will become the new normal until a vaccine is found.
I have attached a copy of the ministers letter to all Parents. You should read this carefully to gain an indication of what is expected from our school and from you as parents.
I Will issue further guidance to you later in the week giving more detailed information on your child’s return.
Yours Sincerely,
Mr Loughran
