Before mid-term, many pupils from our school took part in the Armagh Road Race. All of the boys and girls performed brilliantly at the road race, which led to St. Joseph’s, Madden receiving a special award for coming 1st place in the small schools section. This was a fantastic sporting achievement for our school to receive! On Wednesday 4th March, the Lord Mayor of Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon Borough Council, Mealla Campbell invited pupils from St. Joseph’s to a reception at the Palace Demesne to recognise their achievement and receive their award! Pictured are three pupils who placed in the top ten runners in their race. A great achievement!
