Sentinus in Primary 5
On Monday, our Primary 5 pupils were very lucky to enjoy a fun lesson with David from Sentinus who came to teach us about the aspects of flight.
We learned about aerodynamics, lift and motion and how these are needed for flight. We developed our colouring, measuring, estimating and cutting skills. During the lesson, we received the opportunity to become mini-engineers and David encouraged us to develop our problem solving skills - just like real engineers! We thoroughly enjoyed building helicopters and rockets but the best part was the testing. David took us outside to test our rockets and nobody could have imagined what would happen next! After a countdown, the rockets were launched. They took to the Madden sky, just like real rockets!
We thanked David for coming to our class and showing us how STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) can be fun and interesting.
