Sumdog Maths Competition Update

Throughout the week, pupils from P2-P7 will have the opportunity to compete in the Southern Regional Maths Contest through Sumdog. In total 48 classes from a variety of local schools have registered to compete in the competition. After two days of competition, the scoreboard sits as follows: 

 

 
 
 

Congratulations to Mrs Smith’s class who are currently placed 4th overall! Keep up the good work boys and girls!

In addition to the overall standings we are running an internal competition between each of the classes in our school. At the end of each day points will be awarded to the highest ranking classes in our school:

1st position = 30 points

2nd position = 20 points

3rd position = 10 points

These will be recorded on our school website so that you can keep up to date with progress. When the competition finishes on Friday 11th June the winning class will be awarded with a day off home learning. The results thus far can be seen below:

 
 
 

Incredibly a number of our pupils are currently holding top ten positions in the overall student competition. With 339 pupils registered to compete this is a brilliant achievement. Well done to the following pupils:
