Young writers and Certificates

On Tuesday 2nd October, children gathered to listen to samples of work from each class in the school. This month children focussed on writing recounts. The "young writers" read their work to staff and pupils. The standard was excellent and pupils read very confidently.

Each month more children will read samples of their work. Keep your eyes peeled as their photographs will be uploaded to the school website.

Certificates were also awarded by class teachers, to children who were working very hard or who had contributed to school life. Mr Lougran awarded Rioghnach Mc Kinney with a special award for her wonderful manners.
